San Diego, California-part 2

making buttons!=)
the girls:)

imitating the statue...:)

the Pastor's wife took us to the famous Del Coronado (or as the locals call it "The Dell":)...

probably my favorite shot

the wacky homeschoolers:D

there was a guy there who was an AMAZING sand castle builder! I believe he said he has been all over the world building sand castles for people's weddings and events. It was really cool to meet him and see his creations!

the airplanes fly crazy low!
we had a crazy (awesome) team:)

these are the photos from Wednesday through Friday (It's a little hard to remember, we had so much going on!). I must say, our whole trip did not consist of going to the beach and such, we just didn't get any pictures of the real work! ha:) The Dell was so pretty, and if you are ever in San Diego, you must go to it. When you put your feet in the water and you take them out, your feet sparkle. I was seriously loving it so much.:) The Lord did so much through me in this trip, I feel like I have grown more in Him and made more relationships with other believers, too. So many great memories, stories, and pictures (it was so hard to pick what pictures to put up on my blog, this isn't even all of them...and I didn't even have a chance to really edit any either!) We were studying through 1st John for our devotional on our trip, talking about love. I am so thankful I have a God who loves me (He loves me enough to die for me, and the world) and who is always forgiving. Man, it can be hard to forgive people of just silly little things...but God forgives people of huge sins. He is an awesome God. I hope you all aren't getting sick of me posting and talking about this trip, because there are still more pictures to come (yes, you read it right, more:) And once again some of these pictures I used are from our youth pastor's wife, she is a great photographer, and let me use some of her great pictures (thank you!)

part 3...coming up!...soon:)

photo bombing was a common occurrence on this trip, even from the start:)

enjoyed Costco for dinner on the first night (it was actually at the first Costco ever!)

Tuesday was when all the real work started...

stuffing flyers to hang on doors letting people know about the Fun Fest!

and then came the canvassing....

and then we all realized our phones and cameras where all in the sand...

so we rushed frantically to pick it all up:)

I got pretty excited when I got this picture!

our youth pastor...doing something with some seaweed haha

then some good ol' fro yo at a Cup of Fro:)

California was amazing. That's all I can say. We were in San Diego, where the weather is perfect. We all just got back on Wednesday, but we were supposed to be back on Tuesday. Our flight was cancelled (our 9:15 am flight) and we didn't end up getting on a plane until 10:35 pm, so we had a red-eye flight back home. I don't think I have ever slept so much after a trip!  The Lord did SO much on this trip, and I am thankful I got to go! Thanks to all who prayed and kept us in your thoughts! The pictures I posted were from the first two days, we only got pictures of canvassing the first day ( Tuesday) so those are our canvassing pictures. If you have never been canvassing before, you should do it sometime! (canvassing is where you go door to door either hanging things up on peoples doors or actually talking to people). Interesting (and funny) things happen while canvassing! And the things you see are pretty great too! There are surfboards and surfers everywhere, and the people are pretty cool and chill. I loved it there! And the scenery was gorgeous! Everywhere you looked was pretty, there was the ocean, the mountains, and the awesome city view! So stay tuned for more pictures from our crazy amazing mission trip to San Diego!

(some of the pictures were taken my our youth pastor's amazing wife!)
